Q1: What is a Personal Trainer and how can they help me achieve my goal?

A: In our opinion, it is someone with the knowledge to help another train themselves physically and have the energy, inspiration and skill to communicate that to the other person – and help them improve.

Whether you want to lose weight, train for a specific event or simply get fit we will help you achieve your goals safely and efficiently whilst having fun.

Q2: Can I afford a Personal Trainer?

A: The following shows a typical weekly spend on items that could be cut out or reduced therefore making personal training more affordable as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Q3: Do I need to have any equipment or be a member of the gym?

A: No equipment necessary you just need to be a member of The Gym Hamilton.

Q4: Do I need to be fit and healthy?

A: No not at all, we cater for all fitness levels and tailor design the training to suit the individual.

During your consultation you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire. If this highlights any concerns then we may request that you ask your GP for clearance to exercise.

On your first session, depending on your package, you will get a health and body assessment in order to learn more about your fitness and current health status.

Other than that, all we need is your time and commitment.

Q5: I don’t like the gym environment so how do I exercise?

A: Although the gym we use is very private and has state of the art equipment, we can train you in many other suitable environments, including your own home, using a variety of training methods.

Q6: How many times a week do I need to train?

A: There is no set answer to this question. Everyone has different needs and aims and as such will need differing number of sessions. Mainly we recommend a minimum of 2 per week.

During the consultation we will decide the number of sessions that meets your requirements.
